Snowmen Melt Your Heart

100_3836

Here he is – all finished!  The paper pieced snowman kit I won from Lavender Ridge.  I made him into a mini quilt and embellished the borders with a few appliqu├ęd snowflakes.

Another completed project is this Merry Christmas red work banner. The stitchery pattern is a freebie from Gail Pan.

Merry Xmas

Now that there are real flakes flying it’s time for one of my favourite winter quilts to come out.  I made this one in 2007 from Debbie Mumm’s Quick Country Quilting book it’s called Frosty & Friends.

Well, it feels pretty good to have a couple more finishes with Christmas coming – now back to work!

Diane, your new projects are so great. I love the snowmen, LOVE them, LOL. They are perfect for the entire winter, not just the holidays. The way you finished off the free stitchery from Gail is perfect. I may have to borrow your idea...way cute. Thanks so much for sharing your treasures. I really need to get a couple more seasonal projects done to make my house a little bit festive! Hugs...
