Our Jake has a favourite toy, his duck.  Well, duck squeaks soooo loud that he’s not allowed in the house but it’s very hard to resist this face when your confronted with -

“Please can duck come in the house?”100_4947

Wishing you all a wonderful week,

Diane

You know, ducks squeaker could meet an unfortunate end with a needle. But what a cute face!

It looks like you had a perfect summer day! The sun was shining, the music was playing, and you had a fun project to work on!

I love that face, Jake's that is not yours!! Send duck to us, Sam will remove the squeak in two seconds flat, he may also remove the duck's head but that's another story. Your stitchery looks lovely and I love the needle case - where did you get that from!!!! LOL xxxx

Hi Diane! What a wonderful weekend you had...and a gorgeous place to spend it! I love Bluegrass music, and as Lexington is only two hours away from Cincinnati, I have heard of J.D. Crowe & The New South before!

Awwww, what a cutie pie your Jake is....I vote for letting the duckie in! :o)

XOXO,

Cyndi

It looks like the perfect combination to me! I am collecting the perfect size scraps to make english paper peices during Edmonton's folk fest this year.
I'm glad to see you had good weather for your music festival.
Jake is so adorable - did you give in to that sweet face and let the outside toy in?

We do bluegrass here in Virgina too. Have not done a festival in a good while though. Yes hand work take along is a good thing. I can get a lot of my stitching done when we travel in our motor home. Keeps my mind off DH's driving... hahha!Poor baby Jake...could he have ducky just at play time? Our grand dog has a squeaky too but cannot have it after supper time! ;-)
